Mounjaro™ is a prescription medication for type 2 diabetes. It helps control blood sugar levels by acting like a hormone called GLP-1. It also helps with weight loss by reducing appetite and making you feel full.
Our team will work directly with your insurance provider to help with the process of determining coverage for your GLP-1 medication, which is paid for separately from the membership fee. We do not accept insurance for the membership fee, which is cash pay only. However, upon request, we can provide a superbill for the membership cost which can be submitted independently to your provider for reimbursement. HSA/FSA cards are also accepted.
Mounjaro® (tirzepatide) is an FDA-approved medication for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. When used as prescribed and under the guidance of a healthcare professional, Mounjaro® is generally considered safe and effective.
It’s always a good idea to check with your insurance provider to see if Mounjaro® is covered and what out-of-pocket costs you may incur. Our insurance specialists work directly with insurance providers to assist in getting prescriptions covered, however, approval is not guaranteed as coverage varies by plan. If your insurance denies coverage for the medication, you can either pay for the medication out of pocket (typically $900–$1,600/month, depending on the medication) or cancel your membership. You also have the option to get a credit towards the compound program which includes the medication shipped to your door. Given the cost of initial diagnostics, ongoing provider support, and insurance assistance, we cannot offer refunds for previously incurred monthly membership fees.
If you are deemed medically ineligible for treatment, or if our provider determines that Mounjaro® is not suitable for you based on your questionnaire, we will issue a full refund. Otherwise, our fee is non-refundable. We will do our best to assist you if your insurance does not cover the medication cost. If enrolled in the compound prescription program, you may cancel your subscription up to 15 days before your next payment is due.
